Education Building Room & Service Fees

The School of Education charges fees for room use and event services for the spaces shown below. All other SoE spaces do not have a fee structure; however fees may be applied to events for specific services, as needed.

Group Definition

Any department or unit that is administratively part of the School of Education. Request Timeline: 1.5 years in advance of event date

SoE Event Sponsorship

School of Education departments and units may sponsor use of Education building spaces for UW-Madison departments; recognized student, faculty, or staff groups; and State of WI governmental agencies for events appropriate to the mission of the School of Education.

The sponsored events will be charged at the School of Education rate, but the sponsoring SoE department/unit will be responsible for any fees associated with the event.

This policy cannot be used to sponsor revenue producing* events at the Education building.

Room rental includes the room use, standard furniture layout with minor changes, and any audio/visual (AV) items installed in the room. Requests for AV Items and Additional Items & Services must be made at least 1 business day before an event. Custom AV Requests must be made at least 3 business days in advance. All AV Items and Additional Items & Services are subject to availability.
